My career in hairdressing began at 18 with Sean Hanna, leading to years of experience with industry giants like Charles Worthington, Toni & Guy, and Headmasters.
Having worked on numerous fashion shoots and art teams, I’ve developed a specialty in everything from high-fashion color placement to refined cutting. Today, my focus is on creating precision styles that are simple to manage but deliver maximum impact.
Away from the salon, you’ll usually find me in a Stetson trucker cap, always ready to chat about the best local eats, films, or city adventures.

My name is Katy.
With my career spanning over two decades i feel established and passionate about all things hair. I started my hairdressing journey at the age of 13 as a Saturday girl that’s when recognised my love for hair.
I have been qualified for over 22 years and my real passion is in creating bespoke colour and understanding what would work best and personalising for each client using different techniques whilst always considering hair health.
I have worked with leading industry brands including L’Oreal, Goldwell and now Insight.
Driven by sharing my passion and helping aspiring hairdressers to gain knowledge and skills to succeed I am currently expanding my own knowledge and expertise by studying to become a qualified teacher and assessor.

I started my hairdressing journey about 8 years ago when I trained at LHA Academy, where I completed my NVQ Level 2 and 3. After that, I began working as a junior at Vogue Salon in Wimbledon, and then moved on to Baker Street to gain more experience.
Later, I decided to work closer to where I live, so I moved to Chiswick and worked at Lili’s Hair Salon. I then found a great opportunity and joined Aveda as a stylist. I’m now working at Kew Salon, where I continue to grow and enjoy what I do.
